Elissa, I kept thinking of us. Esp. in the 2 episodes where they went to L.A. and analyzed the coastal differences. ;)

Wow - pretty frickin quiet in here.
Anyway good news on our end, D got a new job as production manager for a classical concert series, so we're moving to Hyde Park (in Chicago for you west coasters). Its a pretty cool, diverse neighborhood, right next to the University of Chicago. Now if I could only find steady work, we'd be solid.
Lis - found a good beach for you, if you're missing the ocean experience. Ohio Street beach... just north of Navy pier - not as crowded as Oak street or North Ave... and the water is nicer. Walk across Ohio street, and under Lakeshore - you can't miss it.
